Install on both devices: Decky → gear → General → Developer mode → Developer → Install Plugin from ZipStreamLink.zip.
Then pair once from the Deck (Pair host…Find hosts on this networkAllow on the host's screen).

New

  • Approve-on-host pairing — discover the host, tap it, press Allow on the host's own screen. No typing a token (manual entry kept as a fallback).
  • "Leaving home" mode — keep the host awake for streaming over the internet, and restore your sleep settings when you're back.
  • Stream session stats — fps, bitrate, ping and slow stages parsed from Steam's SessionStats, shown on both panels.
  • Update check against a configurable JSON feed; the Deck warns when host and Deck versions differ.

Changed / fixed

  • The host is matched in Steam's device list by its hostname (learned at pairing) instead of a fixed name.
  • The client tolerates non-JSON replies from the host API.

Known limitations

Wake from a full power-off (S5) does not work on the Steam Machine — a firmware limitation
(SteamOS#2735). Use Sleep. Wake also only works on your
own LAN; use Leaving home before you go out. Details in the README.
