v0.4.0 — StreamLink is now CouchLink
StreamLink is now CouchLink. The old name clashed with the unrelated
streamlink project, and the plugin's Python package
(py_modules/streamlink) shadowed that project's import name.
Upgrading — read this
Decky treats this as a new plugin, not an update:
- Remove StreamLink on both devices (Decky → gear → StreamLink → uninstall).
- Install
CouchLink.zipon both. - Pair again from the Deck. An old host and a new client can't discover each other — the
/ping
identity string changed with the name.
Also in this release
- The update check finally works. Every release up to 0.3.0 shipped with the feed URL pointing at a
placeholder repo, so the plugin never saw a new version. - Store listing image is the project's own rather than the plugin template's banner.
LICENSEkeeps the plugin template's original copyright, as the Decky store requires.
Nothing else changed: same wake/sleep/auto-sleep behaviour, same host API, same
known limitations (S5 wake still
doesn't work on the Steam Machine — use Sleep).
