🎬 Getting Started

Step 1: Install the Application

  1. Unzip the downloaded file
  2. Extract the contents to your preferred location
  3. Run EMS_setup.exe to install the application

Step 2: Default Login Credentials

After installation, log in using the default SuperAdmin credentials:

Username: root
Password: root

Step 3: Create a New Admin (Optional)

Want to add more admins? Use the CLI version to create new admin accounts:

sudo create admin <username> <password>

Step 4: Start Managing Employees

  • View, add, update, and delete employee records
  • Use GUI mode for a visual experience
  • Use CLI mode for fast command-line operations

🔹 Employee Management

view employees                # View all employees
view employee <empID>         # View details of a specific employee
add employee <details>        # Add a new employee
edit employee <empID> <field> <new_value>  # Update employee details
rm employee <empID>           # Delete an employee

🔹 Admin Management

login <username> <password>   # Login as admin
sudo create admin <user> <pass>  # Create new admin
sudo edit admin <user> <newpass> # Change admin password
sudo rm admin <user>          # Delete admin account
sudo view admin               # View all admins

🔹 General

help                          # Show all commands
exit()                        # Exit the EMS terminal
