Bulp v1.2.0
Bulp 1.2.0 prepares Bulp for Flathub.
⚠️ New app ID: reinstall the Flatpak
The app ID changed from de.codecauldron.Bulp to io.github.Nilpointer.Bulp. Flathub needs it, and it matches the repository, which moved from Nilpointer/bulps to Nilpointer/bulp (old links redirect).
If you installed the 1.1.0 Flatpak, replace it:
flatpak uninstall --user de.codecauldron.Bulp
flatpak install --user io.github.Nilpointer.Bulp.flatpakThe AppImage, the CLI and the Claude Code plugin need nothing special; just use the new downloads, or run claude plugin marketplace update bulps and claude plugin update bulp@bulps.

Bulp v1.1.0
Bulp 1.1.0 makes the bulp CLI easy to use from scripts and AI agents.
What's new
- JSON for scripts and agents:
-jsonnow prints one list with an entry per light:name, host,on,brightness, andkelvin(white lights) orhue/saturation(color lights).[{"name": "Desk Left", "host": "192.168.1.20:9123", "on": true, "brightness": 40, "kelvin": 3500}]⚠️ This changes the JSON format of 1.0.0, which printed one object per light without its name and reported temperature in mireds. - Several lights without discovery:
BULP_HOST/-hosttake comma-separated addresses, e.g.BULP_HOST=192.168.1.20,192.168.1.21. Each light gets its real name, so-name deskworks with them too. - Agent skill:
skills/bulp/SKILL.mdteaches AI agents (Claude Code and others that support Agent Skills) how to control your lights. Install it withcp -r skills/bulp ~/.claude/skills/, then ask "dim the lights to 40%". - README: new sections on scripts and AI agents and on automating lights out with cron, systemd timers or a headless agent.
The tray app and control panel are unchanged.

Highlights
- A tray icon with an on/off menu per light, and a control panel with power, brightness, color temperature, and hue and saturation for color lights.
- Lights are found automatically via Bonjour/mDNS, through Avahi when it's running (reliable even with lights on Wi-Fi). If multicast is blocked, pass
-hostwith the lights' addresses. - The app runs as a single instance: launching it again brings up the panel.
- On GNOME, the tray icon needs the AppIndicator extension. Without a tray, Bulp runs as just the panel window.
On macOS and Windows, use Elgato's official Control Center app (the bulp CLI works on macOS too).
