What's fixed

  • An untagged S3 bucket is no longer mistaken for a missing one. S3 answers a tag read on a bucket without tags with a 404, which was taken for "bucket gone". A retained bucket without tags could lose its ledger entry while it still existed.
  • A restored CR now takes over its unchanged alarms. An alarm whose definition already matched skipped the ownership check, so cloudctl.io/adopt-from-uid never re-tagged it, and cleanup would never have deleted it.
