Install
- Unzip
HandEmu-1.0.4.zipsomewhere permanent. SteamVR loads the driver from that folder. - Close SteamVR and run
install.bat. - Start SteamVR through KRVR, then start Virt-A-Mate.
Requires Windows, SteamVR and an Apple Vision Pro streaming through KRVR with hand tracking on. See the README for gestures, configuration and troubleshooting.
What's in 1.0.4
- Pinch, fist and pinch-and-drag gestures mapped to a Touch-style trigger, grip, face buttons and joystick, with a dedicated Virt-A-Mate binding.
- Tapping the other palm with an index fingertip opens the SteamVR dashboard.
- Holding the palms together for 1.5 s undoes hand offsets caused by a Digital Crown recentre.
- Finger skeletons are rebuilt in SteamVR's bone conventions and sent with the full range of motion, so Virt-A-Mate's fingers follow the real hands.
- Live tuning (
driver\handemu\debug\live.txt) and skeleton captures work without restarting SteamVR.
Status
The finger skeleton rebuild and the palms-together detection are new in this release and have so far been tested only against synthetic data.
