EonPulse

A minimal new tab page with a bunch of space and time stuff I thought would be cool to have.

Overview

EonPulse is basically a new tab page that I made because the normal browser new tab pages are kinda boring.

It has the normal stuff like the clock, search and shortcuts but I wanted to add some more interesting things to it too, so it has stuff like the age of the universe, Mars time, solar activity and NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day.

The main idea was to make something that looks simple but has a lot of little things going on in the background.

Installation

  1. Download EonPulse-v1.0.0.zip from the Assets section below.
  2. Extract the ZIP.
  3. Open chrome://extensions in Chromium or Google Chrome.
  4. Enable Developer mode.
  5. Click Load unpacked.
  6. Select the extracted EonPulse folder.
  7. Open a new tab.
