BLEA 0.6.0

BLEA 0.6.0 is the first public release of the agent-first Bluetooth Low Energy toolkit.

Highlights

• Deterministic BLE CLI for doctor, scan, inspect, probe, read, observe, capture, diff, and replay.
• Local stdio MCP server with one-shot tools and leased stateful sessions.
• Guarded write and request/notification exchange workflows.
• Evidence Format v1 with semantic diff and adapter-free replay for Agent debugging and CI.
• Portable Agent Plugins 1.0 metadata, BLE Skill, and an ESP32-S3 test server.

Safety

• Writes require an explicit allow gate and exact resolved-device confirmation.
• Workflow writes additionally require dangerous: true, successful prerequisites, and policy authorization.
• Capture and replay never pair, write, or change device configuration; replay rejects all write and exchange paths.

Platform status

Windows 11 is hardware-verified with the ESP32-S3 test server. macOS and Linux pass unit tests and real-evidence replay in CI, but their native Bluetooth adapter paths have not been tested on physical hosts.

The Python package installs the ble runtime. Agent Plugin metadata remains a separate installation unit; see the repository installation guide.
