Embedded Agent Toolkit 0.31.0

Toolkit 0.31.0 routes the published sim-runner 0.7.0, HIL Runner 0.8.0 and Embedded Trace 0.8.0 for optional ESP32-C3 ESP-EMU WASM simulation. Normal use selects the published pin without candidate flags; 69 installed payload files bind exact release URLs, tags, source commits and wheel hashes.

The fixed experimental profile retains string-output UART provenance, opaque ROM/eFuse state, unmeasured timing, instruction-budget failures and guest restart requests. HIL stops on failure; Trace preserves native verdicts and model limits. Earlier local candidate records remain explicitly selectable and do not claim release provenance.

Validation: Python 3.11/3.13 host tests (251 per interpreter, three Windows symlink privilege skips), four Skill validators, plugin layout, payload integrity and isolated installs. Two local builds produce identical ZIP/checksum bytes. Existing native locks, station selection, default doctor and component MCP ownership remain independent. No hardware access or emulator starts are part of plugin installation.

Authenticate the separately attested ZIP and bootstrap.py with the tag, source commit and release-attestation.yml signer before installation. Static payload inspection does not itself verify attestation or backend runtime behavior. Simulation does not establish physical-board acceptance.
