To check a download, put its .sha256 file next to it and run sha256sum -c <file>.sha256.
Linux changes in this build
- Preview build, made from the upstream 3.6.7 beta 2: it carries what the next release will bring, and the bugs a beta comes with
- The .deb package is numbered below the 3.6.7 release it precedes, so that apt moves on to that release once it is out
- If you installed the .deb of 3.6.7-beta2-linux1, install this one by hand: apt reads its corrected number as older
- Also available from the beta channel of an APT and RPM package repository: https://packages-github-desktop.nitramo.fr/
- Beta channel features are enabled, as in the official beta builds
- The window shows its own icon under Wayland, and groups with its launcher in the taskbar
- Ptyxis is detected as a terminal, along with the editors and shells upstream added since 3.4.13
