Fixes windows moving into a snap zone without resizing to fill it, including on 16:9 screens.

Window placement now waits for the app to finish resizing, checks the settled result and retries when the app overrides the first resize. This applies to clicking a zone, dragging to snap, arranging windows and Undo.

Windows with an app-enforced size limit stay on the destination display where possible. The widget explains which window could not fit and shows the window and zone sizes.

Download the Mac installer

Open the DMG and drag VibeDesktop into Applications. Open the installed app from Applications, then eject the installer disk.

The new installer contains the same 0.4.11 app; existing users do not need to reinstall. Check for Updates continues to use the signed ZIP.

Loading a workspace now reuses the open window for apps such as ChatGPT and Grok Bot when its title has changed, even if the app has several windows open.

Hidden apps and minimized windows are brought forward before placement. Running apps with no available window are asked to reopen their normal window.

Saved document matching and browser-link restoration continue to preserve the intended document or pages. Your saved workspaces and layouts are kept.

• Reuse matching browser windows while keeping extra tabs and unrelated windows open.
• Rename, update or remove a workspace and inspect exactly which links were saved.
• Keep windows on screen when a monitor is disconnected or its resolution changes.

Browser access uses macOS Automation permission when you save or load a workspace. Other apps reopen available documents; some additional or unsaved windows need opening in their app first. Browser profiles, tab groups and macOS Spaces are not recreated. Workspace preferences stay on your Mac.

Existing Proper Mac Tiler installations can update to VibeDesktop through their usual update check. macOS 13 or later; Apple silicon and Intel supported.

This release uses ad-hoc macOS code signing and is not Apple-notarized. After updating, macOS may require removing the old Accessibility entry and adding VibeDesktop again.
