Pixel Press User Guide

Pixel Press makes local images smaller without uploading them. Pick files or folders, choose WebP and/or AVIF output, set quality, and write optimized copies into a separate output folder.

What Pixel Press Is For

Pixel Press is for local image optimization work:

• Compressing images before publishing them on a website.
• Preparing lighter image folders for sharing or archiving.
• Converting JPEG or PNG images to WebP or AVIF.
• Recompressing existing WebP or AVIF files.
• Processing a folder while keeping the original files untouched.

What Pixel Press Is Not

Pixel Press is not a cloud optimizer, photo backup service, or image editor. It does not upload your files, sync your library, or replace your source images.

Pixel Press creates optimized output files from local input files. Keep the originals as your source of truth.

Basic Flow

1. Open Pixel Press.
2. Add images or a folder.
3. Choose the output folder.
4. Choose whether every run gets a fresh folder or replaces the previous run.
5. Turn WebP and/or AVIF on.
6. Adjust quality or resize behavior if needed.
7. Start conversion.
8. Open the output folder and review the generated files.
