No. Pixel Press processes images locally on your machine.
No. Pixel Press writes optimized copies into an output folder. Keep originals until you have reviewed the generated files.
JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF are the intended source formats when the bundled runtime can read them.
Pixel Press creates WebP and AVIF output. WebP is the broad compatibility option. AVIF can be smaller, but may be slower and may depend on platform and plan.
AVIF can be disabled because the runtime does not support AVIF output on that device, or because you are using Windows Free. On Windows, AVIF output is a Pro feature.
Files can be skipped if they are unsupported, unreadable, broken, or unavailable when conversion runs.
Pixel Press keeps source and output separate so generated files do not get mixed with originals.
If WebP and AVIF are both enabled, each input image can generate one output file per selected format.
No. The Linux release currently has its own release behavior and does not use Microsoft Store purchases.
On Windows, Pro unlocks unlimited batches and AVIF output. The Microsoft Store handles purchase and entitlement.
