What's new in v2.54.0

• Rebuild filtering: parameter-only Cubit updates no longer rebuild the synchronized scaffold and algorithm sidebar unnecessarily; parameter editors continue receiving current values.
• Mouse drag navigation: use a left-button drag across the routing table's bus area to scroll horizontally, without a trackpad or modifier key. Existing bus-lane background drag navigation and routing interactions are preserved.

These changes reduce unnecessary rebuild work; they do not eliminate all large-preset paint lag. Rebuild and paint costs were evaluated separately, and Neal personally tested and accepted the Speed And Scrolling delivery.

Verification

• Flutter analysis: no issues.
• Focused synchronized-screen/routing regression suite: 284 passed.
• Full Flutter suite on release commit: 3,855 passed with serial execution. The initial parallel run encountered two timing-sensitive failures in unrelated tests; both passed on focused rerun and in the full serial suite.

• Respecify an algorithm in place. Slots that support it now show a "Respecify…" item in the slot's More menu, so you can change an algorithm's specifications (channel counts and similar) without deleting and re-adding it. The dialog waits for the module to confirm the change and tells you plainly when the result matched, differed, or couldn't be verified.
• System status panel. A new panel shows live memory and CPU usage from your Disting NT, with a wide-screen shortcut to open it and a fully screen-reader-accessible detail view.
• Memory at a glance. The memory miniature in the bottom bar now fills in on its own and refreshes after adding or removing algorithms, refreshing, or respecifying.
• Easier-to-scan parameter lists. Section headers in standard parameter pages and Lua controller pages are now shaded so groups stand out.
• MCP: added a tool for querying fresh memory usage from the module.

Fixed

• Firmware update can now be opened without first picking a MIDI device, and the app reliably returns to MIDI after flashing.
• Memory and status readings are attributed strictly to the request that asked for them, so stale or late replies can no longer show the wrong numbers; values are now consistently reported in KiB.
• CPU polling no longer stops when the window is resized, and the detail view stays within the visible area.
• macOS and iOS builds were updated for Xcode 27 (minimum macOS is now 12.0).
