  • iOS Support Integration: You can now stream high-definition video from an iPhone/iPad using our zero-install Progressive Web App (PWA) client.
    • Open Safari on your iOS device, navigate to: https://ShareCam.NoCodingGuru.com/ios.html
    • Tap the Share button and select Add to Home Screen.
    • Pair your device instantly by typing the 6-digit room code displayed on the Windows Desktop App.
  • Self-Contained Virtual Camera Drivers: The Virtual Camera drivers (ShareCamVirtualCam64.dll / ShareCamVirtualCam32.dll) are now compiled with static runtime linkages (/MT). This removes all Visual C++ Redistributable runtime dependency issues, ensuring a 100% successful installation on every PC.
  • Optimized Signaling Architecture: WebRTC connection handshakes now run on ultra-low-cost HTTP Long Polling, resulting in zero idle requests.

📖 Quick Start Guide

  1. Open ShareCam: Launch the ShareCam Android app, or open the PWA on your iOS device.
  2. Check Connection: Ensure your Phone & PC are on the same Wi-Fi network (or connected via USB cable for Android).
  3. Connect:
    • Android: Select Wi-Fi or USB mode in Desktop Studio, type the IP address displayed on your phone's screen (e.g. 192.168.1.4:8080), and click Connect.
    • iOS: Select iOS (WebRTC) mode in Desktop Studio, type the 6-digit room code on your iOS PWA, and click Connect.
