New:

• A new look throughout: paper and ink, a serif for names, titles and numbers, and the red thread from the icon wherever something is measured.
• The Story tab opens on where you left off, with a button to keep writing.
• Character pages have the portrait beside the name, the character at a glance (a quote, wants and needs, where their arc starts and ends), and a row of section names that follows you as you scroll.
• Every field is shown, filled or not. "Show all fields" is gone.
• Focus mode stays on from one scene to the next, and today's goal is a line at the foot of the editor.
• Mentions are coloured by what they name, so a place and a person read apart.
• Four app icons to choose from, in Settings (Android).
• A splash screen that draws its thread in.

Fixed:

• Typing on a record page no longer redraws the whole page.
• Custom fields save after a pause instead of on every key.
• A few words that showed in English in every language now follow the app's language.

Which file:

• Android: the .apk. Your phone asks once before installing an app from outside a store.
• Windows: the setup .exe to install, or the portable .exe to run without installing.
• Linux: the .AppImage. Mark it as executable, then open it.

Updating: install over 1.16.0, or let the app update itself; your stories stay.
