Create/Edit/Delete/Deactivate Alerts

Create a new alert by clicking the green "Add" button in the desired event section. A new alert will be created with a standard name. You can change that name anytime by just overwriting it in the input text field.

You can delete any alert by clicking the "Delete" button.

If you just want to deactivate a certain alert, uncheck the "Active" checkbox at the topright.

Add Spells & Auras

Depending on the event, you can add several spells or auras to that alert. Just be aware that those spells/auras will share the rest of their settings with each other (with one exception: sounds).

To add a spell/aura just click into the input text field. An auto-completion feature will help you in entering valid spell names only:

spellselection

After adding, the spell/aura will show up in the spell table below: spelltable

By clicking the delete icon, you can remove the spell/aura again. By clicking the add icon, you can set a specific sound alert for that spell/aura. Be aware that the sound setting of this alert needs to be set to "Play individual sound alerts per spell" in the dropdown at the bottom for this to have an effect.

Setup Source & Targets units

Here you can set up the source and target unit filters for that event/spell/aura combo. Friendly players includes you, so you can exclude yourself in the second dropwdown next to the main one.

Display Settings

Show a progress bar for aura events with a limited duration. Bar placement and layout can bet setup in the bar options.

Text Alerts

Show text alerts to yourself in chat windows and/or AlertMe's own scrolling text frame. Announce to your teammates in various channels or even whisper destination units. By default the messages will be created in the format defined in options-messages. You can however override the general setting by putting in a custom alert text for this specific alert. For more info on how to do that check the wiki page.

Sound Alerts

Either you setup one sound alert for all spells/auras or you define sounds per spell.
