Choose a tag to compare

v2.2.3

Choose a tag to compare

@NeoMahler NeoMahler released this 14 Aug 09:45

Fixed minor bug in pronountest where using "none" as pronouns would raise an error instead of using the name as the pronouns.

v2.2.2

Choose a tag to compare

@NeoMahler NeoMahler released this 27 Jul 17:00

Minor fixes and improvements:

  • Fixed: Manual pronouns didn't work after v2.2.1.
  • Fixed: The bot had stopped raising a warning if it couldn't find a pronoun and was instead stuck "thinking" until it timed out.
  • Improvement: The bot will now raise a specific error message if the pronouns field contains parenthesis (rather than a generic one), as it seems to be the expected syntax to some users.

v.2.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@NeoMahler NeoMahler released this 25 Jul 18:20

You can now use a space instead of a forward slash to separate pronouns in /pronountest ("they she" will be understood as "they/she", "they them" as "they/them").

v.2.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@NeoMahler NeoMahler released this 17 Jul 12:15

This update focuses on the /pronountest command:

  • Added support for multiple pronouns! You can specify up to fix pronoun sets (e.g. they/he/she/it/ze) and the bot will choose randomly. There's a chance that some pronouns will be underrepresented (or won't appear at all). This is due to randomness.
  • If you specify six forms (e.g. they/him/its/zir/theirs/zirself) the bot will use those instead of guessing the proper form for each context.
  • A new button will appear under the bot's message. Click it to re-run the command with the same name and the same pronouns but re-running the randomization parameters (i.e. story and pronoun forms if you're using multiple pronouns).
  • Fixed a minor bug where pronouns that appeared at the beginning of a sentence wouldn't be capitalized.

v2.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@NeoMahler NeoMahler released this 18 Apr 13:41

This update fixes some errors with 2.0 and improves upon some feature.

  • Completely removed old prefix commands. The main instance of the bot can no longer use them due to changes on Discord's side, so they won't be supported.
  • Owner-only commands are now usable again by the owner, but only in a specific admin guild. If you're setting up your own instance of the bot, you'll have to edit the admin.py module and change the guild_ids field of every command to your server's ID. A future update will make this more easily configurable.
  • NBDb list: the script will now try again after an HTTP error instead of being interrupted. Additionally, unless you run it with the "-a" parameter, it will only update new, deleted or edited items in the last day, instead of redownloading everything every time. It is recommended you run this script daily. A future update might include a way to run the script from Discord.

You can see all closed issues in the v2.1.0 milestone. If you notice any bugs, please open a new issue.
