Tethoq 0.1.8
Android update — September 25, 2026
Download Tethoq Mobile 0.1.8 for Android — signed universal APK, build 3, for Android 7.0 or newer.
This brings the Android APK up to date with the current mobile source:
- Smoother long conversations and streaming updates, with cached Markdown and fewer background-tab rebuilds.
- Improved task opening and first-message continuity.
- Branch instructions are retained as a draft in the new task.
- Presented images refresh correctly without ending an active text stream.
The APK uses the same signing certificate as the 0.1.1 release and a higher Android version code. Install it over the previous release to retain app data. Windows Desktop remains at 0.1.8; the Android build has its own source manifest and SHA-256 checksum.
Android source: ad9df8d, tagged android-v0.1.8. Flutter analysis and all 499 tests passed. The release build's signature, package identity, version, and non-debuggable status were verified. An in-place upgrade from 0.1.1 and launch to the pairing screen passed on an Android 16 emulator, with no startup errors. Physical-device testing was not performed for this build.
Coordination messages now reach active tasks and goals through supported provider steering, and appear promptly in chat with their sender attribution. Providers without steering retain queued delivery.
Large streams now deliver their remaining text and completion events promptly, improving how quickly task controls reflect completion.
Includes regression coverage for message order, duplicate prevention, user queue priority, stop and approval handling, compaction, and turn-completion races.
Existing installations can receive this version through the in-app updater. The Windows installer is also available for new installations.
Tethoq 0.1.7
Failed agent tool steps now keep their normal action icon in grey and identify the result clearly, such as “Edit failed” or “Run failed.” Expand a step to read its original error details. Tethoq's app-level error styling is unchanged.
Validated with desktop typechecking, 102 composer checks, packaged smoke tests, and visual checks of failed edits, reads, and commands, including keyboard access to their details.
Tethoq 0.1.6
Fixes goals immediately showing “stalled” after a successful start because of an unrelated historical delivery error.
- Fresh and explicitly resumed goals now keep their own delivery state across refreshes and app restarts.
- Late failures from an older goal no longer stall a replacement goal.
- Queued goal starts correctly associate failures with the goal they start.
- Completing or blocking a goal stops automatic continuation; uncertain user instructions remain protected against replay.
- Failed internal continuations display readable task text in the queue.
Verified with goal/queue regression tests, packaged Windows goal lifecycle checks, and Windows, Linux, desktop and mobile CI.
Existing installations can obtain this release through the in-app updater. The Windows installer also supports fresh installations.
Tethoq 0.1.5
Closing the last browser tab now returns to the current task and focuses its message box. Closing one of several tabs keeps the browser open, and Ctrl+W follows the same behavior. Reopening the browser starts a fresh tab. Closing a page while it loads no longer produces a late browser error.
Mesh waits now accept up to 900 seconds across the supported tool adapters and still return early when the selected children finish.
Existing users can update from inside Tethoq. The Windows installer is also the package used by the updater. This release includes the earlier goal, queued-message, delegation and desktop-update fixes.
Changes: #21
Tethoq 0.1.4
Fixed queued instructions remaining stuck after an OpenCode task finished. An earlier dismissed delivery error could silently block later messages, even after restarting Tethoq. Later queued messages now resume when the hold clears, while protection against repeating the uncertain original remains in place.
This preview includes the goal recovery, Mesh Queue/Steer, OpenCode dispatch-tool, and in-app update fixes from 0.1.3. Existing 0.1.2+ installations can check for this update in Settings.
Tethoq 0.1.3
Windows preview update.
- Mesh model references now respect Queue mode and appear with their selected models in the queued instruction strip.
- Queued Mesh instructions retain their targets and reasoning through edits, cancellation, and explicit Steer.
- OpenCode receives the correct installed Mesh dispatch tool name and permission for prepared turns.
- Includes the goal lifecycle, message delivery recovery, and in-app updater fixes from 0.1.2.
Versions 0.1.2 and later can check for this release in Settings → Updates. Earlier installations need this installer once to gain in-app updates. This release updates the Windows desktop app and its bundled Bridge runtime.
Validated with 473 bridge/provider checks, 107 desktop checks, all 14 CI checks, and packaged application smoke checks. Changes: #19.
Tethoq 0.1.2 - Windows updates and goal recovery
This Windows preview includes the goal and message-recovery fixes and introduces in-app Desktop updates.
- Models can mark goals complete or blocked and end the turn. Failed or uncertain message delivery stops an active goal from repeatedly continuing, and saved state is reconciled after restart.
- The OpenCode context meter reads usage metadata instead of repeatedly downloading the entire conversation. Tethoq preserves a live OpenCode process while it owns active work, even when a short health check times out.
- Settings checks for updates and offers download progress and an explicit restart. Running tasks, recordings, or a standalone Bridge defer the restart.
- Maintainers can prepare future installers and update metadata with the Prepare Desktop update GitHub Actions workflow, then publish its draft release.
Install Tethoq-Desktop-0.1.2-x64.exe for the first upgrade. Installers that shipped before the updater was added need this one normal upgrade; future Desktop releases can be downloaded and installed inside Tethoq. Existing conversations and settings are retained.
This release updates Windows Desktop. The Android preview remains available in the 0.1.1 release.
Validation: all 14 PR CI checks passed; the full packaged Desktop and embedded Bridge checks passed; live goal/message steering checks passed; a real isolated Windows installer upgrade verified download, restart, new-version launch, and saved-data preservation. The build source is recorded in release-manifest.json and has the same source tree as main commit 73f9d53.
Tethoq 0.1.1 - Windows and Android preview
Tethoq 0.1.1 preview for Windows and Android.
- Windows Desktop installer — includes the Desktop workspace, Bridge, and their runtimes.
- Android APK — signed universal APK for Android 7.0 or newer.
- Standalone Windows Bridge — use the tray companion without installing the full Desktop workspace.
This release includes the pending goal continuation and recovery fixes, explicit completion and blocker checks, task-title synchronization, collapsed OpenCode compaction summaries, and the reasoning indicator at the end of expanded activity. It also tightens the goal composer's spacing and restores the sidebar harness mark sizing.
Android now explains how to pair with the installed Windows app. Its first-message handoff keeps the task open while the local draft becomes a provider task, while still respecting a change of connected computer.
To connect your phone:
- Install Desktop or the standalone Bridge on Windows, and connect your coding tool and account.
- Open Tethoq Bridge from the Start menu and choose Pair phone.
- Install the APK on Android and scan the connection code in Tethoq. Keep Bridge running in the Windows tray while using your phone.
The installers include Node.js and the phone-pairing tunnel runtime. A source checkout is not required. These downloads do not include a paid or hosted Tethoq relay service.
The Windows installers remain unsigned previews; Windows may show an unknown-publisher or SmartScreen prompt. The Android APK is release-signed. Android pairing, a complete task exchange, and reconnect were checked in an Android emulator; physical-device coverage remains limited.
If you already installed a development APK signed with a debug key, Android requires removing that build before installing this release. Save any drafts first: removing it clears local app data and requires pairing again.
Built from public source commit 22d0118. The release includes source manifests and SHA-256 checksums for all three downloads. Private and public CI, packaged Desktop smoke checks, embedded Bridge integrity checks, and Android signature verification passed before publication.
Tethoq 0.1.0 - Windows preview
Windows x64 preview of Tethoq Desktop.
Download the Windows installer
Run Tethoq-Desktop-0.1.0-x64.exe, choose your installation folder, and launch Tethoq from the Start menu or desktop shortcut. Connect your chosen coding tool and account during onboarding.
The installer includes Tethoq Desktop, the Bridge companion, and their runtimes. You do not need Node.js or a source checkout to install and launch the app.
This preview is unsigned. Windows may display an unknown-publisher or SmartScreen prompt.
Built from public source commit e3ad5a5. SHA256SUMS.txt contains the installer checksum; release-manifest.json records the source revision and bundled runtime versions.
Bridge only
Download the standalone Bridge installer
Use this lightweight tray app when you want to connect the coding tools already installed on your PC without installing the full Desktop workspace. It includes the Bridge engine, Node.js, and the phone-pairing tunnel runtime. If you install Desktop, Bridge is already included.
The Bridge installer is also an unsigned Windows x64 preview, built from the same public v0.1.0 source. SHA256SUMS-Bridge.txt and bridge-release-manifest.json describe this separate package. These downloads do not include a paid or hosted Tethoq relay service.
