MicroOS Builds

Introduction

This page talks about the different precompiled builds of MicroOS and their applications

microbit.hex

This one is pretty self explanatory, is a build for Arcade shields for the Micro:Bit, the Newbit Arcade Shield to be precise, it should work with other shields but i have not tested that.

arcade.uf2

This build is meant for dedicated arcade devices with the build being targeted at the Retro Arcade for Education, i can't guarantee the compatibility on other Arcade devices but it might just work.

micromachine.uf2

This build is specifically targeted at my devkit which is running a Raspberry Pi Pico with a R2040 CPU, this build will not work on any other device.

Other Devices

I might start doing separate builds for each arcade device unless someone proves that arcade.uf2 is universal when it comes to prebuilt devices and that microbit.hex is universal when it comes to Arcade Shields. I'll probably make separate builds for the other custom boards with a slim chance of a universal build being possible for boards excluding the R2.

Pi0?

The chances of me making a precompiled build of MicroOS for the Pi0 are fairly slim cause PXT doesn't really want to let me build for the Pi0 due to some unknown error, but if anything changes i'll make one.
