Quality.Noted 27.1: first public release

Release-readiness QA audits for Mac apps, run by your own Claude Code.

What it does

  • Phased audits. Build & Tests, Static Audit, Functional QA, Release Cert, Manual Checklist and Tester Walkthrough, at Quick, Standard or Thorough depth.
  • A readiness score and a verdict. Out of 100, judged against where you ship: the Mac App Store, Homebrew or a direct download. 85 or more with no open Critical or High is "Ready to ship".
  • Ranked findings you can trust. Each finding is tagged Verified, Proven or Suspected, and keeps a stable ID across audits. Accept Risk records what you choose to ship with.
  • One prompt to fix them. Copy Action Items Prompt hands every Critical, High and Medium finding to Claude Code.
  • Re-check in minutes. Re-check Action Items confirms your fixes and scans changed files for new problems. If your Claude usage runs out partway, it picks up where it stopped.
  • Tester Walkthrough. A step-by-step manual test plan for what only a person can judge, with keyboard shortcuts and test files. Claude Tests What It Can hands the automatable checks to Claude Code.
  • Insights Dashboard. Readiness over time, fix rate, defect hotspots and spend.
  • Runs while you work. An audit queue, pause and continue, automatic continuing when Claude usage resets, and finish notifications.
  • Prompt files for apps built with another AI tool or by hand.

Requirements

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon.
  • Claude Code, signed in, with a Claude subscription or an Anthropic API key. Audits use your own Claude plan.

Privacy

Quality.Noted contacts Polar, our payment provider, to activate your license and check it when the app opens (at most once a day), and GitHub to check for updates. It never sends your code anywhere. Claude Code sends what it reads to Anthropic under your own account.
