Releases: Notimagination/galaxy-switch-integration
Release list
1.0.4
- (Experimental) You can now turn on an optional lookup that uses IGDB to fix the names of games the plugin could not recognise by their disc number. It is off by default and uses your own free Twitch developer keys, which stay on your computer. This could resolve the issue with name/data detection and cover art for some games, but it is an experimental option that remains limited by GOG.
Note
You need an IGDB API key. You can get it here. It is completely free.
-
Minor adjustments to the plugin configuration UI.
-
Harmless "connection closed" messages that sometimes appeared in the log when Galaxy shut the plugin down are now hidden.
Warning
For this update, it will be necessary to reconnect the plugin to avoid issues.
1.0.3
-
New settings page look inspired by the Nintendo Switch: neon blue and neon red colors and a handheld Switch illustration with Joy-Con. The page layout and options are unchanged.
-
Improved the first load: your installed games are now delivered to GOG Galaxy at once when the plugin connects, instead of as many separate updates a moment later. This may help covers appear more reliably on first connect.
Important
Investigating issue: Games do not launch directly without going through the emulator interface.
Tip
To update the plugin, there is no need to disconnect (and not recommended) and reconnect it. Simply replace the SwitchPlugin folder with the new one.
1.0.2
-
Removed a harmless error message that was written to the log every time GOG Galaxy closed.
-
When a game is closed, the log now records the emulator's exit code, which makes crashes easier to diagnose.
Tip
To update the plugin, there is no need to disconnect (and not recommended) and reconnect it. Simply replace the SwitchPlugin folder with the new one.
