First release maintained by Nous Research. Code is the plugins/memory/byterover provider from hermes-agent@2fa2f42d412a, verbatim; this is the pin the Hermes plugin catalog lists as byterover.

• No pyproject.toml: byterover has no Python dependencies, and an empty one made Hermes ask for dependency consent, which unattended migrations (agent start, gateway) cannot give.
• Synced with every core fix since the September handoff copy.
• In-tree tests ported to tests/; CI runs them on Linux, macOS and Windows against hermes-agent main.
• Existing memory.provider: byterover users keep their config and data; once core drops its bundled copy, hermes update installs this plugin from the catalog automatically.
