[Feature Request] CRT Filters, Scanlines, etc.

First of all, the app works great, arguably much better than OBS for my purposes. Really thankful I randomly stumbled upon this when combing through the gamecube tag on Github.

Are there plans of adding effect filters like CRT and NTSC filters, Scanlines and other similar stuff?

Hi there, glad to hear CapView is of use to you! Check the picture tab in settings, CRT filters are already there at the very bottom. There are scanlines and masks for the aperture grille and shadow mask. Nothing fancy but gets the job done. If you'd like more specific filters, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Happy gaming!

Strange, I don't see the filter options at all in the Picture Tab. If I change the Input type to S-Video, Composite or Component it allows me to use the Native Pixel Grid option, but all it does for me is make the image more pixelated (not in a good way, takes away some detail).

The native pixel grid option is for restoring some sharpness in low-res retro consoles whose input resolution corresponds to their native resolution. I see that you're inputting 720p and 1080p signals. The CRT filters get disabled on resolutions above 576i/p. You mentioned a Gamecube. May I ask about your signal chain? Do you have a scaler between your console and your capture card? Does your capture card have an analog input?

Currently I'm using one of those Bitfunx dongles for the composite\s-video out. My GC is a DOL-101 so that's the only easy option other than an upscaler, but I'll get one a bit later.

(EDIT: Setting the resolution in the Source tab to 640x480 made the filter options appear and doesn't compromise the image quality as far as I can tell, so I suppose it's all good now.)
