Learn about vigilant mode.

Previously, only the latest pnpm version was used. This is still the default.

However, with this release, NullVoxPopuli/action-setup-pnpm@v2 will respect packageManager and volta.pnpm keys in the root package.json

The order of precedence for which specified version is chosen is the following:

  1. with.pnpm-version
  2. package.json#volta.pnpm
  3. package.json#packageManager
  4. 8 (latest / the ^ version)
