NuncioADE v0.0.2
0.0.2 - 2026-07-29
First published NuncioADE release. NuncioADE is a fork of Synara (upstream base
v0.6.3, tracked in UPSTREAM-BASE); the ADE version line is independent of
Synara's. v0.0.1 was tagged but its release pipeline never went green, so this
release supersedes it and covers everything since the fork's rebrand.
Added
- Added the OMP engine (
@oh-my-pi/pi-coding-agent, pinned 17.1.6) as a
first-class provider: a newOmpAdapterdrives the SDK inside a compiled Bun
sidecar we own (@nuncio/omp-sidecar, NDJSON over stdio), because the SDK is
Bun-only while the packaged backend is Node. Models come from OMP's registry;
nativeaskand extension select/confirm/input dialogs ride the existing
user-input flow;synara_*gateway tools are registered as engine custom
tools; stop, compaction, skills, and command listing are wired; a watchdog
frees turns the engine abandons. - Added mermaid diagram rendering:
```mermaidfenced blocks in chat,
plans, and PR views render as SVG (strict security level, lazy-loaded
renderer, results cached per source and theme) with diagram-by-default,
a source toggle, an expand dialog, and silent fallback to the plain code
block for invalid diagram source. Backed by a fence-renderer registry so
future renderable fence languages are a single registry entry. - Added the
nuncioadeCLI (withadealias) and an OMP entry in Settings →
Installed CLIs. - Added a CI-enforced brand identity guard (
bun run brand:check) that keeps
retired upstream identity tokens out of the tree outside attribution,
immutable history, and explicitly marked compat shims.
Changed
- Rebranded the whole tree Synara → NuncioADE via a deterministic codemod:
@nuncio/*packages,NUNCIO_*environment variables,com.nuncio.ade
bundle id,ade_//ade-*harness prefixes. Pre-rebrand user data keeps
working through compat shims: browser storage-key migration, managed
codex-config marker normalization, and legacy external-MCP credential
prefixes with a frozen hash salt. - Advanced the upstream base to Synara v0.6.3 through the
sync/rebranded-upstreamshadow flow (see the 0.6.2/0.6.3 sections below
for what those upstream releases contain). - Reworked the release pipeline mac-only (arm64 + x64) with signed and
notarized artifacts and thenuncioadeupdater channel feeding
electron-updater from GitHub releases.
Fixed
- Fixed a thread whose per-thread event stream died with all transport retries
spent freezing on stale state (an in-flight turn spinning "Thinking" forever):
the client now resubscribes with a widening backoff for as long as it holds
the thread lease. - Fixed the two inherited
PiAdaptertypecheck errors and the inherited web
store test failures that blocked the v0.0.1 release preflight. - Fixed the signed macOS build failing on the packaged OMP sidecar: Bun 1.3.12
emits compiled binaries with a corruptLC_CODE_SIGNATUREthatcodesign
refuses to replace (oven-sh/bun #29361); the pinned Bun toolchain moved to
1.3.14, whose compiled binaries sign and notarize cleanly.
Verification
- Full release-preflight equivalent green locally on the release source:
bun run brand:check,bun run fmt:check,bun run lint(0 errors),
bun run typecheck(8/8 packages),bun run test(10/10 tasks),
test:browser:stable(39/39 files, includes real-Chromium mermaid render
tests),bun run build:desktopplus preload bundle verification.
