CamClops v2.9.2a
Full Changelog: v2.0.1a...v2.9.2a
CamClops v2.0.1a
CamClops v2.0.1a
This is the first release under the CamClops name (rebranded from PathMux).
All tools, config paths, manifest filenames, and script names are updated:
pm_* tools → clops_*; pathmux-tl → camclops-tl; config dir →
~/.config/camclops/.
What's new (v2.0.1a)
- Delete Trip from Properties dialog — red two-click confirmation button; deletes all
.tsand.jpgsegment files and prunes the manifest entry - Job Queue — per-step progress bars — multi-step jobs (GPS extract, camera sync, each concat stage, each collage pass) show individual bars per stage with ▶/▼ expand; per-step elapsed timers; accumulated job time in header
- Remote monitor —
clops_monitor.pyserves a live job status page on port 8647 viewable from any browser on the local network - MP4/WebM output branding — every generated video is tagged with vendor, product, version/HWM, hostname, and content_type metadata
- Output filenames include manifest ID —
clops_trip_XP-6Z_hud.webmformat prevents collisions between files from different manifests - Unified Job Queue Panel — dockable/detachable panel replaces all per-operation progress dialogs; jobs run sequentially with cancel and dismiss controls; Extras… button on each tile for one-click job submission
Bug fixes (v2.0.1a)
- Setup wizard falsely detected NVENC on non-NVIDIA hardware — RPM Fusion ffmpeg includes NVENC unconditionally; wizard now validates each encoder with a 1-frame null test encode instead of checking the encoder list
- CMake logo_morph.mp4 generation failed when system Python lacked Pillow — added PIL import verification with fallback to
python3on PATH; skips generation gracefully if no suitable Python is found
Removed
- DangerousDialog — segment-level edit/archive workflow removed; per-segment editing is handled by
camclops-tl(frame-accurate)

Requirements
- Linux: Alma/RHEL 9+, ffmpeg from RPM Fusion, ExifTool 13.51+, Python 3 + Pillow + requests (for map/dashboard/HUD generation)
- macOS: 12+, ffmpeg + exiftool via Homebrew, Python 3 + Pillow + requests
- Windows: 10/11 x64, bundled installer includes ffmpeg
Notes
- First release under the CamClops name. If you have existing PathMux manifests (
pm_manifest_*.json), they will be migrated automatically on first scan. - Config directory is now
~/.config/camclops/(was~/.config/pathmux/). Existing settings are not migrated automatically — re-run the Setup Wizard (Tools menu) to reconfigure. - ExifTool 13.51+ required for GPS extraction on Pruveeo D90 hardware.
