Describe the bug
Other user is on Cyberia 0.2.9, I am on ReCon 0.12.2-beta.
Upon sending them a message, I crash-to-desktop after a brief delay, consistently. They do not crash-to-desktop, and can message me without any issue on either end. The messages do go through between both clients, they can read all of mine and respond freely, and I don't crash at all when they message me. The crashes only occur when I message the Cyberia user.
Suspected incompatibility between the clients, or some issue with the resonite servers, but not sure. This feels like the most appropriate place to explain it.
The Cyberia user suspects it's something to do with the read receipts. They do networking stuff, apparently.

For context: Cyberia is another alternate resonite chat client and companion app. I don't use it personally, but as far as I know, it serves exactly the same purpose as ReCon.
