Fixed

• Choosing columns works as expected. Newly enabled columns used to appear off-screen to the right, so it looked like nothing happened. Columns now shrink to fit the window, and the horizontal scroll bar stays visible when the table is wider than the window.
• Right-click any column header to choose columns without going through the View menu.
• The File column option is greyed out (with an explanation) while only one file is open, since that column only appears with several files.

• Open folders and many files at once. A file explorer slides in from the left (⌘B) and lists every .evtx file in a folder and its subfolders. Tick files to open them; they merge into one timeline with a new File column.
• Search all files or just one. "Search in" switches search, filters and the Log Summary between every open file and the active file. Detections run across all open files together.
• Built-in updates. Help → Check for Updates… installs new versions in place and restarts. Tidewatch checks automatically once a day (you can turn this off); it only asks GitHub for the latest version number.

Faster

• Loading large logs is about 45% faster thanks to a newer EVTX parser (evtx 0.12).
