ByteClass is a web-based school management system developed to optimize the academic routines of educational institutions. Its purpose is to centralize and simplify the management of students, teachers, classes, subjects, and grades, offering specific functionalities for each user type (administrator, teacher, and student) in an intuitive and accessible environment.

Prerequisites

• MySQL installed
• Node 22+
• Git installed

Steps

# 1. Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/NyczDev/byteclass

# 2. Access the project's back-end
cd back
cd byteclassAPI

# 3. Restore packages
dotnet restore

# 4. Initialize the database
dotnet ef migrations add recreateDB
dotnet ef database update

# 5. Run the back-end
dotnet run

cd front

# 7. Install dependencies
npm install --force
