What's changed

Ready for 16 KB page-size devices. Android 15+ devices using 16 KB memory pages need every bundled native library aligned to 16 KB. All 36 shipped libraries now are:

  • Conscrypt 2.5.2 → 2.6.1 (also picks up the fix for the native crash in X509Certificate.toString())
  • ML Kit language-id 17.0.0 → 17.0.6

Smaller download. The on-device colorizer has been removed along with the ONNX runtime it required. That runtime added roughly 6 MB to every install and its JNI library was one of the misaligned ones. The APK drops from 111 MB to 80 MB, and the per-device install size falls from about 44.6 MB to 40.8 MB.

Source catalogue. Filter the catalogue by language and content type, with the empty state now saying which filters are active.

Theming. Light and dark palettes moved to Material 3 neutral surface tones.

New source. NatoManga.

Note

On-device colorization is gone in this release. Whole-page translation, downloads, sync and everything else are unaffected.
