The email address a new contributor of Quick Submit starts with is now the email of the technical support contact of the journal (Settings → Journal → Contact). Where the journal has no technical support contact — it is optional in OJS — the principal contact is used, as before. An address chosen in the plugin settings still wins over both.

Install / upgrade: Settings → Website → Plugins → Upload A New Plugin, with quickSubmitAuthorDefaults-1.1.0.0.tar.gz.

Se a revista não tiver contato de apoio técnico — ele é opcional no OJS — vale o contato principal, como antes. Um endereço escolhido nas configurações do plugin continua tendo prioridade.

Generic plugin for OJS 3.5. The contributor form of Quick Submit opens already filled in with the email address and the country of the journal and with the Author role, so the editor only types the name and clicks Save. Every field stays editable.

• Email address: the principal contact email of the journal, or an address the journal chooses.
• Country: the country of the journal.
• Role: the default Author role of the journal, or a contributor role the journal chooses.
• Each value can be switched off in the plugin settings; only new contributors are touched.
