SIPI-2 1.0.0

First stable release of SIPI-2, an image server implementing IIIF Image API 3.

Source package

Download sipi-2-1.0.0-source.tar.gz, SHA256SUMS and manifest.json from the release assets. The source package includes the project source and both Linux dependency graphs, Conan recipes, patches and dependency sources. GitHub's automatically generated source archives contain only the repository snapshot.

Verify the downloaded archive with:

See the included source-package instructions for restoring the dependency sources and building. General build tools and operating-system packages are outside the bundle; a fully offline build is not claimed.

All 589 source-package payload checksums were verified. The 24 release, license-collection and source-packaging regression tests passed. Local Linux ARM64 and AMD64 runtime images passed container smoke tests and their dependency inventories matched the source package exactly. AMD64 tests ran under emulation on an ARM64 host.

Docker images are published as lrosenth/sipi-2:1.0.0 and lrosenth/sipi-2:latest for Linux AMD64 and ARM64. Both tags were verified against this multi-platform digest:

Both published platform images were pulled by digest and passed container smoke tests. Their provenance labels and dependency inventories match the release commit and attached source package. For reproducible deployments, pin the digest above.

Licensing

Software and code examples: AGPL-3.0-only. Documentation prose and the seven credited photographs: CC BY 4.0. Photographs have file-specific attribution to Dölf Rosenthaler and Lukas Rosenthaler. Logo usage has separate terms. Third-party components retain their respective licenses. See LICENSING.md.

Compatibility

Documented CLI, environment/TOML configuration and Lua preflight interfaces are intended to remain compatible within 1.x. Security fixes may tighten validation. Internal C++ interfaces, cache file formats and experimental material are not stable public APIs.

The version bump from 0.1.3 requires no configuration migration. SIPI-2 is not asserted to be a drop-in replacement for earlier SIPI implementations; review configuration and Lua preflight contracts before migrating.

No upload/import API, IIIF Presentation API, original-download API or application login service is included.
