What's new

First release — the English edition of the Hermes boot animation.

• Fully English UI across all six acts: brand reveal, over-exposed whiteout bridge, the technical-dossier plate, the authorization handshake, identity confirmation and the welcome finale
• English settings page, sidebar entry and command-palette commands (Startup Animation: Play Now / Open Settings)
• Confirm keys work everywhere: Enter, numpad Enter, Space and Esc are bound in the capture phase, so the chat composer can no longer swallow them (Enter is the send-message key there)
• Same engine as its sibling: audio cues, theme-aware light/dark plates, session/daily playback gating, configurable identity, speed and sound

Install

1. Download plugin.js below
2. Hermes → Skills & Tools → Plugins → folder icon (opens the real plugin directory)
3. Create a folder named hermes-boot-screen, drop plugin.js in, click Refresh ↻

Success signals: a toast plus a new row in the list. Editing the file in place does not auto-reload — hit Refresh again.

Data & privacy

No network calls, no telemetry, no shell, no background processes. Everything (identity, playback mode, speed, sound) lives in the plugin's own storage on your machine.
