Neurorecorder 170 warns us if we choose a recording directory with spaces in its path name. Spaces will disrupt the operation of the Neuroplayer during continuous playback and export. Neuroplayer 176 fixes problems we were observing on Windows, MacOS, and Linux whereby the Neuroplayer controls would become unresponsive during fast playback of a recording from twenty or thirty telemetry channels. The new fast_play_ms parameter allows us to give the operating system more time to manage key strokes and mouse clicks between playback intervals. The fifty-millisecond default seems sufficient on our machines, but you can increase its value if your Neuroplayer is unresponsive, or decrease it if your machine is powerful and you want faster playback.
