What's new:

• Better matching: it no longer picks tribute, remake, DJ or compilation uploads credited to the real band, or a remix when the song's length doesn't fit. If a Bandcamp copy has the wrong length, SEVBY uses YouTube instead and says so in the log
• No more random YouTube fallback: a song that can't be found now fails clearly instead of downloading an unrelated video
• Official names: file names and tags use the official spelling from Apple Music, however you type the line (for example "kataklysm - black sheep" is saved as "Kataklysm - The Black Sheep", with the right cover art)
• If the first YouTube search finds nothing, SEVBY tries other wordings before giving up
• Clearer buttons: Import (.txt or .csv), Chosic (Spotify playlists) and Apple Music (paste a link), with hover tips explaining each one
• Fixed some pop-up windows not opening properly on Linux

• SEVBY-Windows.zip: unzip and run SEVBY.exe (best tested, Windows 10)
• SEVBY-Linux.zip: beta, lightly tested on Ubuntu (WSL2). Unzip, then run chmod +x SEVBY and start it

Some antivirus programs may flag the exe because it is unsigned and built with PyInstaller; the full source is in this repo. Please report problems under Issues.

• Better matching: rejects tribute bands, re-recordings, live albums and other accounts' uploads; checks the Bandcamp file's length against Apple's
• File names and tags use the official spelling from Apple (e.g. "kataklysm - black sheep" → Kataklysm - The Black Sheep.mp3); songs already saved under the name you typed are still skipped
• A leading "The / A / An" no longer stops a song being found
• If YouTube's first search finds nothing, SEVBY tries up to three other wordings (the artist has to match too)
• Clear message when the wrong APK is installed for the device (e.g. the ARM one on an emulator)
• Import also reads CSV exports (Chosic, Exportify, TuneMyMusic, Soundiiz, Apple Music) and M3U playlists

About SEVBY for Android – a proper app (no Termux needed).

Paste or import a .txt list of Artist - Title lines, pick a folder, press Start Download. SEVBY looks for each song on
Bandcamp first and uses YouTube for the rest, then saves a 128 kbps MP3 with title, artist, album, year,
track number and square cover art (album details from Bandcamp or Apple's iTunes Search).

• Queue several lists; each goes into its own sub-folder
• Pause / Resume / Stop, also from the notification; after Stop, Resume carries on where it left off

The first official release: turn a playlist or a list of songs into tagged MP3s on your own computer. SEVBY looks for each song on Bandcamp first and falls back to YouTube.

What's new in beta.2: YouTube downloads failed on a fresh install because the built-in downloader (yt-dlp) was out of date – SEVBY now updates it automatically before a run. Also a clearer message when YouTube refuses a request ("YouTube error – update yt-dlp") instead of "not found on YouTube".
