I belong to the ☎️dial-up generation, the homepage generation, the 2G generation, the pre-USB generation.
My generation witnessed the rise and fall of optical discs 💿, rode the first waves of 🧲torrent traffic, and basked in the early rays of 🛜WiFi.
I held the 💾Save button icon in my hands back when it was an actual floppy disk.
⚙️ Who am I, and what kind of IT specialist am I?
- Nobody and nothing special! I grew up in 90s Russia, so just tell me what needs to be done—and in three days, I'll know how to do it.
- I wrote my first lines of code back in my school days. I seeded the earliest torrents. I authored guidebooks on forums.
- Over 20 years in tech support gave me X-ray vision for human stupidity and the ability to explain how computers work to anyone—from a toddler to a C-level executive.
The Internet taught me a simple truth: curiosity overcomes rules. Desire is more honest than shyness.
Life is short. There’s no time to be shy.

⚙️ Кто я и какой я IT-специалист?
- Никто и никакой! Моё детство прошло в России 90-х годов, так что просто скажите, чем нужно заниматься — и через три дня я буду уметь это делать.
- Первые строки кода я написал ещё в школьные годы. Раздавал первые торренты. Писал инструкции на форумах.
- Более 20 лет в техподдержке выработали у меня рентгеновское зрение на человеческую глупость и умение объяснить устройство компьютера хоть ребёнку, хоть топ-менеджеру.
Интернет научил меня простому: любопытство сильнее правил. Желание — честнее стеснения.
Жизнь коротка. Стесняться — нет времени.
