• PlayStation button labels: pick Xbox or PlayStation buttons in the setup window or Options > Buttons. Hints, the radial and the bar show button icons (✕ ○ □ △ or A B X Y) and the matching names (L1 / R1, L2 / R2, Share, Options).
• New radial look for the main menu and the utility ring, closer to WoW Forever's.
• Move and resize the radials: in Edit bar layout, drag the main menu's box (or the utility ring's centre) and use the mouse wheel to resize. Fixes the radial going off screen on a Steam Deck with UI scale maxed.
• Various look and feel improvements

Fixed

• Abilities that fire on your next swing or repeat (Heroic Strike, Raptor Strike, Auto Shot) now glow on the controller bar while queued.

Windows Defender

Defender may delete version.dll because it reads the controller and sends key presses. If the game won't start with WowPad or the file disappears: Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Protection history > Restore / Allow on device. See the README for details.

New

• On-screen keyboard: Back + A opens a small keyboard above the chat window. D-pad to pick keys, A to type, X for capitals, Y for space, B to delete, LB / RB to switch channel (Say, Party, Guild, Raid, Reply), Start to send. Slash commands like /reload work. Can be turned off in Options.
• Healer mode (off by default, Options > Buttons): tap your ally bumper to target your last party pick, or hold it and flick the right stick down / up to step through your party. A gold frame marks who you picked. Works in combat.
• Utility ring: eight spells, items or macros on one button. Pick the button in Options > Bars, fill the wedges in Edit bar layout, then hold the button, point the right stick and let go. Works in combat.
• Quest log: X tracks / untracks the selected quest.

Fixed

• Ground-targeted spells (Blizzard, Flare, ...) can now be cast: aim with the camera, then press A or the same button again to place the spell. B cancels. Let the camera come to rest before placing.
• B now leaves the Esc menu (Return to Game) and cancels the Video, Sound, Interface and Key Bindings windows.
• Loot rolls show the Y hint (preview, hold to compare).
• The Leave Vehicle button stays visible when Blizzard's bars are hidden.
• Picking a utility-ring button updates the Options "needs Apply" notice right away.
• Resizing the lite bar with the mouse wheel no longer jumps to the normal bar's size.

• Setup window: opens once for new installs and after each update. It checks your controller, movement keys, interact key and camera setting, explains the setup commands, and shows what's new. Reopen it with /wp firsttime or Options > First-time setup.
• Works with DialogUI: its NPC and quest windows now work with the D-pad (first option or Accept selected, B = Goodbye / Decline).
• Works with DragonUI New Era: its professions window, side tabs and spellbook close button now work with the pad.

Fixed

• Windows that another addon keeps open but hidden (transparent or off-screen) no longer take the selection or the camera.
• B closes windows whose close button has no name.

• Leaving chat with the controller: Back + A = Enter (open chat / send), Back + B = Esc (close chat). A hint shows above the chat box. This is only so you're never stuck in the chat box without a keyboard. There is no on-screen keyboard; to type, use a keyboard or your system's own (e.g. the Steam Deck keyboard).
• Dungeon finder and loot rolls in menu navigation: the dungeon-ready window gets the selection (Enter Dungeon selected, B = Leave Queue), and so do group loot rolls (Need or Greed selected, B = Pass). In combat they leave your controls alone; roll after the fight.
• Bag item actions: L3 on a bag item opens Disenchant (when you know it and the item qualifies) / Destroy (asks first) / Cancel.
• D-pad scrolls long lists: at the top or bottom of a list (professions, auction house, quest log...), the D-pad scrolls it instead of leaving it.
• Lite mode for the controller bar (Options > WowPad > Bars): one cluster at a time; holding LT, RT or both shows that set in its place. It has its own position and size, can sit on the bottom edge of the screen, and gets set tabs in Edit bar layout.
• Swap LB / RB targeting option (Options > Buttons). Menus keep LB/RB for switching windows.

Improved

• Windows remember their selection while open (switching windows or selling an item no longer jumps back to the top).
• The window outline, selection box and hint bar now sit behind tooltips; the blue outline is a bit more see-through.
• The hint bar names Bagnon windows "Bags" / "Bank".
