AutoMate v1.1 - Daemon Fix for Packaged Application

This patch release addresses a critical issue from v1.0 where the background daemon process, responsible for handling scheduled tasks, failed to initialize or function correctly when AutoMate was run as a standalone packaged application (e.g., .app on macOS).

Problem Fixed:

  • In v1.0, users running the packaged application might have found that scheduled automations (file operations, emails, data tasks) did not run as expected. This was often due to the daemon failing silently in the background, potentially related to issues finding paths or creating necessary temporary files within the bundled environment.

Other Notes:

  • This release also incorporates fixes made during troubleshooting that ensure the main GUI window launches reliably on macOS.
  • Core features remain the same as v1.0.
