Docker
The fastest way to get a working OdooPLM server is the official Docker image. It carries Odoo with the whole community PLM suite already in the addons path, and it creates and initialises the database on the first boot — no database wizard, no Python dependency to install by hand.
The images and the Compose stack live in a separate repository: https://github.com/OmniaGit/DockerOdooPLM (branch 19.0).
git clone --branch 19.0 https://github.com/OmniaGit/DockerOdooPLM.git odooplm-19
cd odooplm-19
docker compose upThen open http://localhost:8069.
The stack brings up Odoo plus PostgreSQL, creates the odooplm database and installs the PLM modules on the first start.
| Item | Value |

| Web | port 8069 |
| Websocket / longpolling | port 8072 |

| Base image | odoo:19.0 |
| Variant | Size | Contains |
|---|---|---|
| full | ~4.4 GB | the CAD conversion stack (cadquery, ezdxf, matplotlib, numpy-stl, to-3mf), so plm_automated_convertion can batch-convert STEP to 3MF, STL and PNG previews |
| slim | ~2.5 GB | the same modules without the conversion stack, for teams that do not convert |
Both variants ship every community PLM module in the addons path; you still choose from the Odoo Apps menu which ones to install.
Each variant also has a -demo tag that boots on an already populated database — the same content the plm_demo module installs: the LSU-100 sample product over three BOM levels, its 3D models, the ballooned assembly drawings and the spare parts manual that prints from them.

Pull one directly if you don't want the Compose stack:
docker pull ghcr.io/omniagit/odooplm:19.0-demoThe images are rebuilt every week, against both the PLM sources and the official Odoo image, and every build is started and verified before it is published.
docker compose down --volumes # deletes the database and the filestore
docker compose up # rebuilds it from scratchThe desktop client expects HTTP on port 80 (see CAD Client Setup). The container exposes 8069, so put a reverse proxy in front of it — or map the port — before pointing the client at it.
