Overview

We are thrilled to announce ImgConvertor for Windows version 1.1! This update introduces support for the .ico format and addresses issues related to .jpg conversions, enhancing the overall functionality and reliability of the application.

New Features 🌟

• ICO Format Support: Added the capability to convert images to the .ico format, suitable for creating icon files.
• Improved Conversion Handling: Enhanced support for .jpg and .jfif formats, ensuring compatibility with a wider range of image types.

Bug Fixes 🐛

• JPEG Conversion Issues: Resolved errors that occurred during the conversion of images to .jpg and .jfif formats, improving stability and accuracy.
• PNG to JPEG Conversion: Fixed issues where converting images from PNG to JPEG would fail due to incorrect mode handling.

Installation Instructions 📦

1. Download the Setup File:

   • Visit the Releases page on GitHub.
   • Download and run the latest setup file for Windows.

2. Build the App Yourself (Alternative):

   • Clone the repository:

     git clone https://github.com/yourusername/image-converter-app.git
     cd image-converter-app

   • Install dependencies:

     pip install -r requirements.txt

   • Build with PyInstaller:

     pyinstaller --onefile --windowed main.py

   • Run the application from the dist directory.

• Language Support: Some languages are still being refined; please check for updates in the future.
