Overview

This Python script provides real-time monitoring of various system resources such as CPU, memory, network usage, GPU information, temperature, fan speed, and battery status. The script is designed to run in the terminal, with color-coded displays and logs for later analysis.

Features

  • CPU and Memory Usage: Displays real-time CPU and memory usage with color-coded output.
  • Network Usage: Tracks sent and received data in MB/s.
  • GPU Information: Shows GPU name and memory details (if available).
  • Temperature and Fan Speed Monitoring: Provides current temperatures and fan speeds (if supported by the system).
  • Battery Status: Displays battery percentage and charging status (if applicable).
  • Top Processes: Lists the top 5 CPU and memory-consuming processes.
  • Logging: Logs all resource usage data to a file named system_monitor.log.
