What's new in Clipman 1.7.0

  • Added template entries. Mark a text entry as a template in Entry Properties and Clipman resolves date, time, timezone, operating system, and username variables when the entry is copied or quick-pasted.
  • Added template preview and template-variable reference controls to Entry Properties.
  • Kept template text literal in shared history, exports, search, and Entry Properties, so the stored entry stays reusable while copied/pasted output resolves at the moment you use it.
  • Added shared Windows/Mac template status support so synced databases preserve template entries across both platforms.
  • Clarified custom sound overrides: put replacement WAV files in the active data/settings folder's sounds subfolder, and missing custom sounds fall back to the bundled defaults.

Closes issue #12. Issue #8 remains open and reviewed because it still needs a runtime crash log if it happens again.
