Clipman 1.8.0
What's new in Clipman 1.8.0
- Added Sensitive Data preferences for automatic clipboard text capture. The feature is off by default; when set to Exclude from history, checked presets are not stored in Clipman history and the system clipboard or Mac pasteboard is left unchanged.
- Built-in sensitive-data presets now include credit card numbers with Luhn validation, US Social Security numbers, international phone numbers, long API keys/tokens, software license keys, and approximate US driver-license shapes.
- Added
exclude.wavas a dedicated sound for sensitive-data exclusions, with fallback toskip.wavwhen the custom or bundled exclude sound is missing. - Improved template entries with Insert sample and Insert field commands in Entry Properties on Windows and Mac.
- The manual now includes a Sensitive Data Exclusions section with harmless copy-button test values so users can confirm their selected presets and exclude sound.
Issue #8 remains open and reviewed because it still needs a runtime crash log if it happens again. Issue #13 is addressed by the built-in preset/exclude workflow in this release; custom patterns and prompt mode were intentionally left for future consideration.
