It improves browser combo-box change speech when NVDA's diff would otherwise produce a tiny fragment, avoids ordinary edit fields while typing so character echo is not duplicated, strips repeated web-control selection instructions from spoken values, and keeps terminal/live-output monitoring working.

Use NVDA+8, NVDA+9, or NVDA+0 to read a watcher; press the same command twice quickly to set it if empty or clear it if already set.
