Release list
FastRead 1.0.4
FastRead 1.0.4 refines the watcher workflow from issue #1. It improves browser combo-box change speech when NVDA's diff would otherwise produce a tiny fragment, avoids ordinary edit fields while typing so character echo is not duplicated, strips repeated web-control selection instructions from spoken values, and keeps terminal/live-output monitoring working.
FastRead 1.0.3
FastRead 1.0.3 adds three watcher slots for pinned values in the current window. Use NVDA+8, NVDA+9, or NVDA+0 to read a watcher; press the same command twice quickly to set it if empty or clear it if already set. Watchers can be set and read while FastRead is off, and they speak automatically while FastRead is on.
FastRead 1.0.2
Prepared FastRead for NVDA Add-on Store distribution by removing the built-in update checker and relying on NVDA add-on update channel metadata.
FastRead 1.0.1
FastRead 1.0.1 improves support for NVDA live-text terminals such as PuTTY. Live terminal output now uses FastRead's interrupting speech path instead of behaving like queued NVDA terminal speech.
FastRead 1.0.0
FastRead 1.0.0 adds immediate speech for changing browser, terminal, and focused control text. Browser values are spoken as full changed values, while terminal output uses concise appended-text speech where possible.
