ZSU 1.4.10 — Navigation and update reliability

Nested screens now keep the bottom tab that owns them selected. Settings children such as Customization, Developer, Disguise, and App Profile Templates select Settings instead of falling back to Home. Module repository, meta-module, addon, superuser, SU log, app-profile, and module-action screens select Manage. The stock installer remains associated with Home. Ambiguous screens such as Backup/Restore retain the originating root tab through the navigation back stack.

Module updates are now failure-safe. Download filenames are sanitized before passing them to Android DownloadManager, malformed or unsupported URLs are rejected without throwing through the UI coroutine, callback delivery is marshalled to the main thread, and the update listener tracks only its own download rather than every DownloadManager completion. Update exceptions and download failures now show a localized error instead of terminating ZSU.

The build retains the 1.4.9 bottom-dock fix, directional tab animations, and Home header without the CONTROL CENTER subtitle. No kernel, root, module execution, or automatic reboot behavior changes are included.

Downloads

Normal and spoofed manager APKs are provided. VersionName is 1.4.10 (1.4.10-spoofed for the alternate identity), with versionCode newer than 1.4.9.

ZSU 1.4.9 — Navigation polish

The crimson bottom dock now has an opaque surface and a background scrim, preventing page content from showing through behind the tab icons. System navigation and display-cutout insets are applied outside the dock; the inner Material3 NavigationBar no longer consumes them inside a fixed-height layout. All four tabs have consistent icon sizes and visible labels, with a subtle scale animation on selection.

Tab changes now slide and fade according to their order: moving right enters from the right, moving left enters from the left. The same transition applies to tab taps, horizontal swipes, and Back-to-Home, while nested routes use a lightweight fade. Scroll-hide state resets after navigation so the new screen does not inherit a hidden dock.

The Home header shows the logo and ZSU only; the CONTROL CENTER subtitle has been removed. Manage content is now scrollable, and both Manage and BL Root reserve bottom space so their last controls can be reached above the dock.

This build retains the SUSFS LKM one-tap install/update button and black-and-crimson theme from 1.4.8. No kernel or root-execution behavior changes are included.

Downloads

Normal and spoofed manager APKs are provided. VersionName is 1.4.9 (1.4.9-spoofed for the alternate identity), and versionCode is newer than 1.4.8.

ZSU 1.4.8 — Crimson

New

  • Install / Update SUSFS LKM button in Addons, matching the existing one-tap installers.
  • Resolves the latest stable release from matsuzaka-yuki/susfs-lkm-module on every press and selects only the arm64-multi-kmi.zip asset. The same button installs the loader or updates an existing installation.
  • Downloads and installs through the existing KernelSU addon workflow with progress and installer output. Reboot is required after installation or update. The loader's own installer performs device/KMI compatibility checks.

Design

  • New geometric crimson Z-shield logo, adaptive launcher icon, monochrome themed icon, and legacy launcher density assets.
  • Black-and-crimson UI: near-black layered surfaces, warm neutral text, red accents, and a polished dashboard/navigation treatment.
  • Dark appearance is the default; the reusable theme still supports explicit light, dynamic-color, and AMOLED overrides.
  • Dark Android startup background to avoid a white flash before the UI loads.

Maintenance

  • Safely quote paths passed to the addon module installer.
  • Clean up addon ZIP downloads in a finally block, including failed download/install attempts.
  • Align APK versionName with release tag 1.4.8 and raise versionCode for upgrades over the previous release.

Downloads

  • Normal manager APK: standard ZSU package identity.
  • Spoofed manager APK: existing alternate package identity.

There is no toggle, background updater, automatic reboot, or change to the kernel/root execution logic in this release. To fetch a later SUSFS loader release, press its Addons button again.
