3.4.0: sign in with your account
Sign in in the plugin's settings with an OnlyWorlds account token (made on onlyworlds.com under your account). Download World then lists your worlds, and the plugin mints its own key per world, named after the vault: no key copying. Sign out forgets the token and revokes it on onlyworlds.com.
Join a world with a link. A person invite (needs an account) or a player link (no account, read-only): paste it and the world comes down. A read-only world stays read-only in the vault: edits stay local, no PIN prompt.
Create World while signed in makes the world on your account directly.
The token is stored in the vault's plugin data, which Obsidian Sync and git vaults carry with them. Settings says so; sign out before you share a vault.
Your PIN is asked once per plugin session: reloading the plugin (or Obsidian) asks again.
Read-only worlds (a read key, a player link, a guest invite) refuse Save, Delete, Upload and Rename before any dialog, with no PIN prompt; Upload's and Rename's pickers list only worlds this vault can write to and say when one was left out. A guest invite's preview says the key will be a read key.
Fixes, for every vault
##headings no longer split a note into fields; only###starts one.- YAML quotes strings a parser could misread (a leading digit,
+or., an inner:or#, words like yes or null). Dates stay strings. A text field typed as a number is sent as a string. - A link field resolves only against notes of its target type; same-name twins link to their own notes. A Pin whose element link is ambiguous is left out and named.
- Auto-sync saves the note whose timer fired and leaves your focus alone. A failed save says error, not synced.
- The upload count comes from the server's per-item results; failures are named.
- Atlas's own fields (
atlas_*,shadow_*) are no longer copied into extrax_fields; old copies drop on the next write. - World folder names with
/ \ : * ? " < > |, a leading dot or a reserved name are made safe (a/bbecomesa-b). - A 429 or 503 is retried once after its Retry-After.
- Folder export follows folder format 0.3.8: everything under
elements/, spec filenames, no invented timestamps, every world.json key carried except the key. Folder import creates World.md withAPI Key: local, readselements/overspatial/, and lists duplicates. - Small truths: the PIN comment matches what is stored; no save hotkey is set by default (bind one under Settings → Hotkeys); the README says a vault's own notes never sync (Create Element brings one in).
Known and unchanged: a new note linking to an unsynced note is refused; edits made outside Obsidian don't auto-sync.
