Updating Mods

IGMI can help manage updates for installed mods when update information is available.

Updating a Mod

1. Open IGMI.
2. Open your installed mods.
3. Find the mod with an available update.
4. Review the new version.
5. Select Update.
6. Wait for the download to complete.
7. Restart Minecraft if required.

Before Updating

For important modpacks, consider creating a backup before updating.

A new mod version may introduce:

• New dependencies
• Compatibility changes
• Configuration changes
• Bugs
• Breaking changes
