Mute: Sense6 keeps working, silently

Turn on Mute and Sense6 stops speaking, showing tips and sending notifications. It keeps watching, remembering and doing your tasks, and approval cards still appear when it needs your OK. The exception is a phone call Sense6 is making for you, which still talks.

Mute it with the bell next to Active · Pause at the top of the Hub, the menu bar menu, ⌥⇧M, your phone (Computer → Settings → Proactive) or the Stream Deck volume key.

Pictures in email

On the Mail page, Always from this sender shows pictures from the internet in that sender's emails automatically from then on. The setting is shared with the iPhone app.

Draft an email in seconds

Ask Sense6 to "draft an email to maya@example.com saying the proposal is ready Friday" (or to someone you've emailed before, by name). Sense6 writes it right away and opens it in Mail for you to check and send. It no longer runs a whole task that looks through your files first.

Then say how to change it ("make it in Spanish", "shorter"), and the same draft is rewritten.

Press to talk works after every start

On computers where Sense6 has a very large memory, a slow start could leave the part of Sense6 that listens without its page. Press to talk then did nothing, and nothing was heard. 1.0.79 tried to fix this, but its check missed the case seen on real computers. Sense6 now waits for the listener to say it's ready, and loads it again if it doesn't.

Ready for you: several at once

Tick the items you want under Earlier and Archive or Delete them all at once. Under Archived, you can tick several and Restore or Delete them. The box at the top of each list selects them all.

Email tasks no longer freeze Apple Mail

On a very large mailbox (for example an Exchange account with 100,000 emails), some email tasks made Apple Mail freeze for minutes, and every email step after that hung too.

• Sense6 now always uses its own mail tool. That tool searches Apple Mail and your connected accounts quickly, instead of scripting Apple Mail.
• When your connected accounts already answer, a slow Apple Mail search stops after 25 seconds.

Rewrite with AI, in every email you write

The mail composer has a Rewrite with AI button. It can:

• improve your text, or make it shorter, longer, more formal, friendlier or more direct;
• fix spelling and grammar;
• change it however you say, in your own words.

With nothing written yet, it writes the email from one line and the subject.

• Only your part changes. The quoted email below a reply stays as it is.
• Nothing is sent.
• Undo puts back what you had.

Create Word, Excel and PowerPoint files with AI

The Documents page has a Create with AI box. Describe what you need and Sense6 writes the whole file, opens it, and saves it as a real .docx, .xlsx or .pptx:

• Documents have headings and tables.
• Spreadsheets have labelled inputs and working formulas. Every formula is checked before you see it.
• Presentations have a theme, layouts and speaker notes.

Nothing about you is made up. Anything Sense6 doesn't know is left as a [placeholder] for you to fill in.

Booking link: let people book a time you're free

Share your link (sense6.io/meet/your-name) and people pick a time that's free across all your calendars. Sense6 checks the time again, adds the meeting to your calendar with the guest invited, and tells you who booked.

To set it up, go to Calendar → Booking link: choose your hours, meeting lengths, buffer time and notice. The composer's Booking link button puts the link in an email. It's off until you turn it on.

• Faster mail searches when an account is connected both in Sense6 and in Apple Mail. A large Exchange inbox used to take minutes, and each email was counted twice.
