Step one

Create a GitHub account for yourself.

Work your way through their "GitHub bootcamp"

Send a note to osj1961 requesting membership in the Open-Math-Book organization (I'll need your GitHub username).

Step two

Pick a project that you'd like to contribute to and think about how you might contribute.

Possibilities:

  1. Write a section
  2. Proofread/edit a section
  3. Add exercises to a section
  4. Create photographs, illustrations, tables or figures
  5. Start a discussion about the pedagogical approach.

Step three

Do something

You may need to familiarize yourself with the mathbook xml project.
